Assassin's Creed Shadows gamers on PS5, you can grab free store credit for next 48 hours

PlayStation fans eyeing the latest iteration of Assassin’s Creed can snag themselves some extra PlayStation Stars.

You might have seen the glowing reviews for Assassin’s Creed Shadows - we gave it a hearty 9/10 - and perhaps you’re thinking of buying the game.

Assassin's Creed Shadows is out now and taking the world by storm

If you find yourself playing on PlayStation 5, it’s worth heading into the PlayStation app and checking out the Stars campaigns, as there’s one for buying the latest assassin adventure.

Titled, Discover/Trending Now, all you have to do is buy Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and net yourself an extra 50 points.

This campaign is running until 30 April, so you’ve only got a couple of days to act if you’ve been waiting to buy the game.

If you have no idea what I’m talking about - perhaps you’re new to PlayStation Stars - let me explain.

Whenever you buy something on the PSN store, you get some points as a reward; you can also get points for completing campaigns chosen in the PlayStation app.

When you’ve accumulated enough points, you can swap them for some store credit - 500 points nets you £5/$5, for example.

So, buying Assassin’s Creed Shadows will snag you some points for the purchase itself, and also an extra 50 for the campaign.

Once you’ve got the game downloaded, you can enjoy the finest Assassin’s Creed game for many years, and one that both critics and fans have loved.

If you’re not convinced, and you should be, allow me to back up his words and say that’s probably the best the series has felt for over a decade.
