Dead by Daylight players on PlayStation, Xbox and PC can redeem a code for free in-game currency, no strings attached.

For those unaware, Dead by Daylight is a PvP survival game that places a team of survivors against a rampaging killer. It gained notoriety over the years for a number of collaborations with well-known horror icons from film, TV and games including Stranger Things, Resident Evil and Evil Dead.

Take a look at Dead by Daylight below

For participation in one of the game’s events, called the Carnival, the game’s developers are offering 240,000 Bloodpoints and 24 Rift Fragments for free. This in-game currency is used to upgrade your survivors/killers and unlock a variety of content to assist with your online matches.

Aside from being completely free, you didn’t even need to participate in the event to claim the rewards. The code given by the developer will work on Xbox, PlayStation and PC regardless of how much of the game you’ve played, so this is an offer new players won’t want to miss out on.

In other news, Dead by Daylight ended up in headlines for a completely different reason the other week, when one of the developers publicly shared their opinion on Palworld, the “Pokemon with guns” game that’s taken the world and Steam by storm. The developer talked negatively about the game and called it “boring” thus angering a large portion of the internet who relentlessly attacked him for his opinion.

Many called his statements contradictory, and spoke about the many problems Dead by Daylight has faced in the past due to its gameplay and performance.

Either way it doesn’t take away from the fact this is a great deal for new and returning players. You’d be a fool to not snag the chance to get a mountain of free in-game currency without having to do anything for it.
