A Steam game with 85% positive reviews is currently available to download and keep, but you’ve only got until 18 March to do so.

Steam has a variety of paid games and free games. The free-to-play titles usually come with some other kind of incentive to support it, such as DLC or microtransactions.

Meanwhile, paid games might receive a deep discount during sales season, so gamers on a budget can save money while continuing to enjoy their hobby.

And occasionally, developers will make their games free to keep for a limited time, usually as a way to promote their other games.

We love a freebie, don't we? Check out the trailer for Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning below.

During the Steam Spring Sale, which began yesterday (13 March), publisher GrabTheGames put its game Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning on sale for 100% off.

Basically, you can get it for free if you add it to your account.

The catch is you only have until the 18 to do it, so be sure to visit the Steam store page and add it to your account if you have any interest in owning it.

The store page description reads: “Join retired salesman rabbit, Hank, and his canine pal, Larry, in part one of this story-driven game series as they use their knowledge of influence and persuasion to make their way through the apocalypse—without having to risk their own skin.”

“With a mixture of dark comedy and the use of real-life influence tactics, this story-driven game puts you behind the wheel of the characters’ choices. Can you convince a timid animal to enter dangerous looting locations? Will you risk your scavenger’s life for more resources?”

From what we can tell, this game is the first part of an ongoing series.

Following the release of The Beginning in 2018, GrabTheGames released a follow-up, Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse Ep2: Caged, last year.

The Beginning currently has an all-time positive rating score of 85% on Steam, while Episode 2 has a rating of 95%. So they’re pretty popular games with players.

If you’re interested, you’ve got until 18 March to grab Scheming Through The Zombie Apocalypse: The Beginning, whereas Episode 2: Caged is available for 80% off.

The Steam Spring Sale runs from 13 March to the 20th.
