When you are not busy watching one of Star Wars' multiple spin-off shows, you can get stuck into one of the franchise’s best video games for free for a limited time only.

Released in 2004 as a direct sequel to Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, or KOTOR 2 for short, is a RPG set in the vast Star Wars universe and oftentimes considered as one of the best Star Wars video game entries of all time.

Check out the trailer for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 below!

Obsidian Entertainment managed to put a unique spin on the sci-fi universe and despite reportedly receiving a rushed development cycle and cut content, KOTOR 2 still managed to tell an intriguing story about the Jedi, Sith and their connection to the Force.

Set in the Old Republic, an era of Star Wars that is often not considered canon, Knights of the Old Republic 2 takes place roughly 4000 years before the Prequel movies and five years after the events of KOTOR.

It follows a former Jedi Knight who has been exiled and cut from their connection to the Force by the Jedi Council. The reason as to why is slowly uncovered throughout the events of the game but it is an interesting look into the morally grey side of the Jedi and their connection to the Force.

If all of this sounds interesting to you, you can now get the hit RPG for free courtesy of Prime Day via the Amazon Games App. This deal will only be available for a limited time so don’t miss out if you are a fan of Star Wars or a thrilling sci-fi adventure in general.

In related news, Amazon Prime members can also look forward to another two titles being made free this weekend. This includes a hit action-adventure title and a 2024 release.
