If you ever thought that Skyrim was done, then think again, because this new expansion adds a whole new land to explore.
Originally released in 2011 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, before being ported to every console generation since, I bet that not even Bethesda could have predicted the huge success that this entry in The Elder Scrolls series would become.
Nearly 15 years later, fans still cannot get enough of Skyrim, and a large reason for that (other than being a fantastic fantasy RPG) is thanks to its ever-vibrant modding community.
Whether it’s fixing those infamous Bethesda launch bugs, boosting the visuals and framerate, adding new weapons, gear and more, modders have you covered.

One mod that is worth your attention is the newly released ‘Bleakrock Isle’, created by WMDBloodHunter, and it’s available to download for free via Nexusmods right now.
It’s worth keeping in mind that ‘Bleakrock Isle’ is currently a work in progress, but the signs are already looking promising, to say the least.
“Bleakrock Isle is a small, barren island in the sea northwest of Morrowind, just to the south of Solstheim,” reads the description of the mod.
“Since the beginning of the Three Banners War, bandits began appearing in Bleakrock, and many citizens began to carry around alabaster whistles to sound when they required aid.

“The Isle was left abandoned after the Daggerfall Covenant attacked the village of Bleakrock, an unknown hero washed ashore and rescued all of the villagers and led them to safety.”
“Families of the village have moved back to the island and rebuilt their old family homes. The Hero of Bleakrock's name was forgotten by time, and the identity of the hero seemed to have disappeared off the face of Nirn itself, but the residents of Bleakrock Isle will never forget.”
At the time of writing, according to the mod page, ‘Bleakrock Isle’ has two player homes and one village. A dungeon will be added to the mod via an upcoming update.
Sadly, as is the nature of most mods, ‘Bleakrock Isle’ is a PC exclusive.
