With Rockstar finally bringing Red Dead Redemption to PC later this month, the long-awaited western adventure will be arriving alongside a much-loved mode.

At long last, 2010’s Red Dead Redemption will be coming to PC on 29 October after being a console exclusive for the past decade.

Check out Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare below!

We have no idea why it has taken Rockstar so long to make a PC port but it can only mean that it will be the perfect experience for fans both old and new.

Not only that but Rockstar promises quite a few improvements in its blog post announcement.

"In collaboration with Double Eleven, this new version adds PC-specific enhancements including native 4K resolution at up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality.”

However, Red Dead Redemption will also be arriving alongside Undead Nightmare, the iconic zombie-horror companion story.

As a standalone expansion for Red Dead, it added a single-player campaign, two multiplayer modes and additional cosmetics.

Set in an alternate timeline from the base game, the story follows John Marston as he fights to search for a cure for a zombie plague that has infected his wife and son.

With Undead Nightmare also arriving to PC on 29 October, this will be the perfect game to dive into on Halloween and fans agree.

“So now I know how I will spend Halloween 2024,” read one comment over on r/reddeadredemption.

Another said: “LETS GO!!!! The mods are gonna be great.”

With just a couple of weeks left until Red Dead Redemption hits PC, it is an exciting time for players who didn’t get to experience the Rockstar title the first time around.

Let us just hope the PC port will run smoothly.
