Gamers looking for two free titles should run to the Epic Games store, especially if you’re a fan of RPGs.

There are plenty of free games floating around online at the moment, some of which can be found on the Epic Games Store, whereas others can be found on Steam. While they’re not always the most exciting titles to add to your library, beggars can’t be choosers, as a free game is a free game.

Check out the new trailer for Marvel's What if..? season two.

Two games can soon be downloaded and played via Epic, but they’re only available for a limited time, so if they pique your interest, it’s better to claim them as soon as possible before they return to full price.

So without further delay, check out the two games, and their descriptions, below to see if they’re your cup of tea.

First is Surviving the Aftermath, a city-building simulation game that has you form a community in a world devastated by a cataclysmic event. The official description for the game reads: “Survive and thrive in a post-apocalyptic future - resources are scarce, but opportunity calls! Build the ultimate disaster-proof colony, protect your colonists, and restore civilisation to a devastated world.”

It’s a hit amongst fans, many of whom praise its unique spin on city-building, as well as the various DLC packs that released. The DLCs aren’t free, but they pack a lot of additional content.

Next is EARTHLOCK, an indie RPG with a charming art style and engaging combat, inspired by other popular RPG franchises like Final Fantasy. Its description says: "Embark on a journey to save the beautiful world of Umbra, a harsh planet that stopped spinning thousands of cycles ago.”

Both games will become free to play later today, with the offer live until 23 November.
