PC users can claim a $25 game for free, limited-time only

One of 2021’s most unique games can now be yours for free, but you’ve only got just over a week to claim it before the deal disappears forever.

It’s free games time on the Epic Games storefront, so you know what that means! Well, it’s pretty self-explanatory, I guess.

This week’s offering is a bit of a special one, however, because the mere reminder of this game’s existence is making me want to play through it again. Kinda jealous of anyone who hasn’t given this a try yet (especially for free).

That's because this week's free game is Sable, the 2021 exploration adventure game from developer Shedworks and publisher Raw Fury.

Now to be frank, Sable might not be a game for everyone. The whole point of the game is that you’re kind of meant to just traverse the landscape and take in the sights. There isn’t some kind of deep combat system or a unique gameplay mechanic to mess around with here.

It really is just a pretty game to get lost in. You can spend hours just trekking across landscapes and waffling to NPCs, sort of like an indie take on something like Death Stranding.

Oh and also, the soundtrack absolutely slaps. Honestly that’s my main take away from the whole experience. Just zipping across barren landscapes and listening to bangers.

Well, if that sounds like your kind of deal, I highly suggest jumping on this one ASAP. Sable is only free on the Epic Games storefront until 3 July next month, at which point it will be replaced by another freebie.

Honestly though, I recommend giving this one a whirl even if that doesn’t sound like your cup of tea. Even if you only spend a couple of hours exploring Sable’s beautiful scenery, that sounds like time well spent in my book.
