Everyone loves a free game, even better when there are two, or three, or several. I’m getting ahead of myself though, right now, you can add two titles to your Epic Games library free of charge, and they’re bangers.

The Red Dead Redemption re-release is out today for Nintendo Switch and PS4! Check it out below

First up is Europa Universalis IV, a must-have title if you’re a fan of strategy simulation games like Total War or Age Of Empires. Simply put, Europa Universalis IV gives you the throne, crown, and responsibility to make crucial decisions for the good of your nation.

You’ll guide your people through several years, building, expanding, and pillaging till you’re an empire to be reckoned with. Rule fairly, or be a tyrant, it’s really up to you and you alone. Obviously, efficient strategies and tactics will be key to the success of your rule, so a bit of pragmatism is essential if you want all the power and glory.

Play alone, or with friends/strangers with cross-platform multiplayer, which will put your strategies and decision-making to the test. Don’t let the IV scare you either, you absolutely jump into this one without playing the ones before it.

Next on the list is Orwell: Keeping an Eye on You, a unique game to say the least, that’s well worth checking out while it’s free. Taking the concept of “Big Brother”, a term for being spied on and controlled by someone in power, the player will investigate the lives of strangers through surveillance, in an attempt to uncover a terrorist group.

Orwell, the technology used in the game, can spy on anyone in the country, which will be very helpful for your investigation, but at the cost of your morals. Players will need a keen eye for detail to identify who’s a culprit, and who’s an innocent.

And there you have it, two Epic Games titles you can download and play for free right now. Act fast though, as the offer expires later today, 17th of August!
