With there being just under a year left until we can finally get stuck into Grand Theft Auto VI, fans are having to find their enjoyment elsewhere.

Luckily, a team of creators have come together to bring that enjoyment in spades by releasing brand-new content for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

Although Grand Theft Auto VI is already expected to be the best Grand Theft Auto title of all time, there is no denying that previous instalments, such as GTA: San Andreas, are still loved to this day.

That is why fans will be over the moon to learn that there is still more of it to enjoy.

Courtesy of its modding team, Grand Theft Auto: Recall San Andreas is the “ultimate beta restoration and remaster of the classic game”.

The mod aims to reintroduce all of the valuable cut and unused content from the original GTA: San Andreas game as well as adding new fixes, features, abilities, improvements, and more.

“Recall is not a full beta restore,” the team explains over on ModDB.

“During research and development of Beta San Andreas, we came to the conclusion that about 90 to 95 percent of the cut content in the beta to be valid, valuable, important and rad with the remaining five to 10 percent being the real beta material and needing development. Right now SA: Recall is +90 percent finished as we work towards restoring the last few remaining bits.”

GTA: Recall San Andreas also offers improved stability and a HD remaster that is guaranteed to appeal to both original fans and new players alike.

The mod is still in the works and is not yet available to download. However, the team believes that with a little help, it could soon be released to the public.

So if you are a fan of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and want an excuse to return, this exciting release is guaranteed to fill that GTA VI-related void.
