PC players can claim one of the best and most underrated LEGO games in years, but there is one minor catch.

It doesnt matter our age, we’re never too old for LEGO. I think most of us would probably have some memory of LEGO growing up. Whether it’s Black Seas Barracuda, the Airport Shuttle or the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars.

Over the years, the LEGO franchise has expanded far beyond building awesome LEGO sets, offering countless merchandise, animated TV series, big-budget movies at the cinemas, and much more.

However, the most fun I’ve had outside of building LEGO sets (let’s be honest, nothing beats that) is playing its many video game adaptations, such as Star Wars, DC, Indiana Jones, Marvel and more. If there’s a popular entertainment license, then there’s a good chance LEGO has probably adapted it.

Sometimes, LEGO inspires a video game not adapted from anything pop culture related, such as 2023’s open-world racer, LEGO 2K Drive.

Which, basically, is Forza Horizon meets LEGO.

LEGO 2K Drive Is Not To Be Missed!

“LEGO 2K Drive is, to use a LEGO classic, awesome. The automatic morphing between vehicles is a stroke of genius - keeping races varied and entertaining,” said GAMINGbible’s Kate in her review.

“Each track offers a new challenge, and the various hubs of Bricklandia are certain to keep you busy for hours on end, all whilst honing your skills at the same time.

"Topped with LEGO’s signature humour, the story campaign is exactly what you’d hope to find in a LEGO game. LEGO 2K Drive is a classic in the making. Visual Concepts has cruised along the track to victory.”

If, for whatever reason, you’ve not played LEGO 2K Drive, then you might be pleased to know that it’s being given away for free, courtesy of Amazon’s Prime Gaming.

It’s available for free until 4 March 2026, so you do have time to make it yours, but if you’ve got a memory like mine, you might want to claim it now before you forget.

It should be mentioned that you will need to subscribe to Amazon Prime to claim the PC version of LEGO 2K Drive for free.

Towards the end of 2023, LEGO 2K Drive was also included in PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, but with its recent offering in Prime Gaming, hopefully, it might one day be added to the PS Plus Essential tier. Fingers crossed.

LEGO 2K Drive is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
