A brand new Stardew Valley-esque Fallout: New Vegas mod is adding a bunch of new content to the game, including (but not limited to) your own personal robot butler and a brand new questline that concerns the residents of Goodsprings.

'Fixer Upper - a Goodsprings renovation and trophy house' is a brand new mod from author natmaac over on NexusMods that adds a new player home and an associated seven-part quest to Fallout: New Vegas.

Fixer Upper tasks the player with carrying out a half-finished task left behind by Goodsprings’ resident Easy Pete, who has left a potential home in a state of disrepair… which is where the seven-part questline comes in.

As mod author natmaac explains, Fixer Upper will require you to take over Easy Pete’s workshop “across seven chapters,” which will see you “transform the derelict house into the home of your dreams.”

Who else is counting down the days until Fallout's second season?

You’ll spend the majority of your time completing tasks such as “fixing the roof and restoring power to crafting all the essentials…” but there is a little cherry on top for completing the whole thing.

“Enter the Decotron! RobCo’s cutting-edge prototype robot, an expert in both home management and interior design. Stand back in amazement as it syncs with your Pip-Boy data, to manufacture unique trinkets and trophies that celebrate your adventures across the Mojave.”

Yup, that’s right, you get a sweet robot butler for all your troubles. That’s worth the (free) price of admission in itself.

However, if you’re not entirely convinced, YouTuber Kyon Tales has uploaded a full playthrough of the mod for you to have a look at, prior to downloading.

I wonder if the Decotron is from the same line of Protectron models as Fisto? You know what, I’m just gonna download the mod quickly and get back to you– for research purposes, of course.
