Cyberpunk 2077 is in the best state it has ever been in thanks to the tireless work of CD Projekt RED.
With many players experiencing the hit RPG for the first time, it is no wonder that modders are churning out some epic free downloads which aim to make the game even better.
That is definitely the case for Survival System, a gameplay overhaul mod created by Di Crash over on Nexus Mods.
“A simple survival system that fundamentally changes the importance of food, water and rest,” the description reads.
In vanilla Cyberpunk 2077, it is not necessarily to eat, drink, or sleep but thanks to this mod, not doing so will have dramatic consequences.
Not sleeping and losing energy will cause V to gain a negative effect on maximum health, health regeneration, stamina, and memory and its recovery.
Additionally, the same will apply for the ‘satiation’ and ‘hydration’ features and so players will need to keep an eye on these bars in order to keep V in fighting form.
Of course, sleeping, eating, and drinking is easy enough to do around Night City but this will be another component you will have to keep an eye on as you deal with a certain rocker boy in your head.
With widgets available to monitor your new stats, the cost of food and drink increased, and added weight to all consumables and ammunition, the Survival System mod is about to make Cyberpunk 2077 a whole lot more challenging.
