Cyberpunk 2077: Californication is an original quest you can check out free

Have you finished Cyberpunk 2077? Well, no you haven’t.

We’re not referring to its Phantom Liberty DLC, but rather a brand new quest you can go on thanks to the wonders of the fandom.

Yes, this free Cyberpunk 2077 download is an expansion of sorts, in which you can dive into an additional tale for Judy lovers.

We mention Judy because the mod – ‘New Quest – Californication' – specifies that players wanting to try this original quest need to have romanced Judy.

As well as being with Judy, players need to leave Judy back in NC, and have had a positive interaction with Judy’s grandmother.

“[The] quest can trigger once at least 24 hours have passed since the final romance text messages from Judy, and at least 24 hours after installing the mod,” the mod creator, Deceptious, explains.

“If you have ‘Hot Fuzz’ mod installed too there is a 36-hour delay between this quest and that one, no matter the order you get them.”

This “nice mod” has received a decent number of positive reviews from fans who’ve already embarked on its mission.

“Hey Deceptious, just want to say thank you for all of the wonderful additions you've made to this fantastic game!” reads one comment.

Elsewhere, someone else remarked, “Wonderful little mod! Should be included in the base game!” Now that’s some high praise indeed.

Not only is it wonderful to see positive feedback for this mod, but also for the game in general.

Cyberpunk 2077 had such a rough start, yet it’s just hit “overwhelmingly positive” on Steam, solidifying it as one of the comebacks of the century.

As if that wasn’t joyous enough news, an official Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners RPG is coming later this year.
