We may be in the twilight months of 2025 but it seems as though 2026 is already shaping up to be another incredible year of gaming.

With gamers looking to the future and preparing both themselves and their wallets for the major 2026 releases, this upcoming RPG should definitely be added to our radars.

Set to be released sometime in 2026, Tides of Annihilation is a fantasy action-adventure title inspired by Arthurian legend.

Developed by Eclipse Glow Games, players will be tasked with uncovering the mystery of an otherworldly invasion in a shattered modern London which has unleashed hordes of enemies.

You will take on the role of Gwendolyn as she fights spectral knights in an attempt to save her family and piece back together a broken world.

“London lies in ruin, torn apart by an abrupt invasion from another realm.

As Gwendolyn, the city’s last surviving inhabitant, you will face off against otherworldly foes as she navigates a world where reality and fantasy intertwine, unravelling the mysteries binding this shattered existence,” the official Steam synopsis reads.

In Tides of Annihilation, London has become a spectral version of itself with buildings distorted and lifeforms transformed but it is here that you will need to harness the power of knights in order to create your very own Order.

With each knight offering unique skills and abilities for your team, you will soon be able to command an army of ten and create your very own battle strategies as you unleash cooperative attacks.

Fight giants, colossal knights and other enemies roaming around the streets of London as you uncover the tales which explain their very existence.

The return of Shadowheart

If all of that is not enough to convince you to add Tides of Annihilation to your wishlist, you should know that it boasts an impressive cast.

Gwendolyn will be voiced by none other than Jennifer English who is best known for her roles as Shadowheart in Baldur’s Gate 3 and Maelle in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

She will be joined by real-life partner Aliona Baranova who will take on the role of Mordred.

The pair can be seen in action in the Tides of Annihilation announcement trailer as well as a 11-minute gameplay trailer which shows exactly the kind of combat you can expect from this epic upcoming RPG.

As mentioned, Tides of Annihilation does not yet have a concrete release date but it is expected to arrive on PC some time in the new year so make sure to keep an eye out on one of 2026’s most anticipated releases.
