Batman always looks good, especially in the Arkham series. However, there's nothing wrong with Bats getting a little graphical makeover to ensure he looks his best.

Even though Batman: Arkham Knight gets most of the love, at least when it comes to it being the greatest action game out of the trilogy, there's still a lot of praise for Batman: Arkham Asylum as well. As far as we're concerned, you can't have one without the other.

For gamers returning to where it all began, there's a stunning overhaul you can download, for free, that'll help Batman and all the villains he faces look their best. 'Asylum HD' has a simple premise, yet that simplicity doesn't prevent it from delivering a satisfying revamp of the game's popular aesthetic.

In-game textures have been upscaled to offer better clarity, however, the creator does admit that some elements of the game will still look "low resolution". Nevertheless, the work that's been done really is noticeable, and helps Arkham Asylum feel like a brand new game, at least visually.

As we know, there are plans for more Arkham games to be made, though when they'll come is anyone's guess; all we know is that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League won't be the last in this universe. Although that's cause for celebration, the wait we'll have to endure isn't, which is likely why so many players will want to return to the original trilogy to get their DC kicks.

"This mod makes magic," said one satisfied customer, while another said, "This [mod] looks really good." We know they're not the most moving reviews, they clearly indicate how well received this NexusMods download has been. If you want to experience this "magic", you know what you need to do.
