Baldur's Gate 3 Has Indiana Jones Mode, Superb Fan Addition

With Indiana Jones and the Great Circle receiving two nominations at this year’s The Game Awards, it seems as though gamers are still in the market for some old-school adventuring.

Luckily, this brand-new Baldur’s Gate 3 mod will allow them to do just that, all whilst paying homage to one of history’s greatest explorers.

Released back in December 2024, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle brought the iconic fictional character back into the limelight, with a stunning performance from Troy Baker at its helm.

Now with the game receiving nominations for Best Action/Adventure Game and Best Performance for Troy Baker at the 2025 The Game Awards, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is back in the limelight.

So what better way to celebrate than by combining the award-nominated game with, well, another award-nominated game.

Courtesy of Kiwi Looter over on Nexus Mods, Crypt Raider Rogue Subclass will combine the best of Indiana Jones with Baldur’s Gate 3.

For the first time, your Baldur's Gate 3 Tav will be able to channel their inner explorer in a “love letter to Raiders of the Lost Arc and the Tomb Raider games”.

“Now, you can whip your way through dungeons, pry treasure from the grasp of the Undead, and loot everything along the way,” the official description reads.

Once you have downloaded this mod and got your character to level three, you will be able to summon your trusty Crypt Raider’s Cord whip as well as gain Dark Business (the ability to gain Super Dark Vision whilst equipping a torch) and Grave Robber (the ability to detect hidden objects whilst carrying a shovel).

Levelling Up Will Unlock Further Skills

You will gain further abilities the more you level up including Cold Dead Hands which allows you to pry a weapon from an Undead Creature’s hands with your whip, Mean Left which will see you able to deal damage with your torch, and Blinding Off Hand: allowing you to blind the Undead when wielding a torch in your offhand.

Your whip will also have its own stats and will also level up as you do so you can expect it to do a whole lot of damage by the time you are level nine and beyond.

The Crypt Raider Rogue Subclass mod was uploaded just hours ago but despite being new, it will be no surprise that this gains massive traction for the modding community.

After all, what could be cooler than living your childhood Indiana Jones’ dreams but in the magical roleplaying world of Baldur’s Gate 3?
