Baldur’s Gate 3 is already a huge success and it’s only on PC (for the moment). But that doesn’t mean Larian Studios are sitting back – the first major update for the game has been announced, and it’s said to introduce a “gigantic” list of changes.

The epic RPG has already overtaken Zelda TOTK to become the best game of 2023, and with this massive update on the way, Baldur’s Gate 3 looks set to continue being the game for to beat.

Dive into the world of Baldur's Gate 3 with its launch trailer!

In a Steam community post, Larian kept their cards close to its chest, with the specific details about the update nothing short of vague. Still, while they’re not revealing much, Larian made it clear that they’ve been listening to fan feedback since the game’s launch.

"We have a roadmap for hotfixes and patches, thanks to your thorough reporting and the stellar work of the support and development teams behind the scenes.”

Larian continued, "We don't publish our roadmaps because we need the freedom to push and pull things around when the unforeseen happens without locking ourselves in, but we want to let you know that it's there and that we're currently working towards Patch 1, which will feature a gigantic list of tweaks and changes. We'll publish these once it's finalised."

Everyone here at GAMINGbible is excited to see what the first patch will bring. Of course, the update isn’t the only news fans are eager to learn more about – Xbox players are still waiting to hear when a port will become available.

Currently, Baldur’s Gate 3 is only available on PC, though it'll be available to buy for PlayStation from 6 September. Although having to wait may be frustrating, the good news is that Larian is clearly invested in continuing to grow this game into something even greater.

And if that doesn’t comfort you, you can soak up all the details about horny gamers and their romance options to keep the fires of passion burning. Let’s face it, a lot of us are suckers for getting our freak on when we get the chance, especially when it’s part of a fictional world.

While it’s unlikely the enormous list of changes will feature more in the way of romance, it seems Larian is determined to enhance our experiences until we live, breathe, and eat Baldur’s Gate 3. If you’re not already doing that, of course.
