Assassin's Creed II fans need to check out this remaster because Ezio Auditore da Firenze has never looked better.

I’d be hard-pressed to pick out just one game from my beloved Assassin’s Creed series that I believe is the absolute best. The chances are that I’d either pick Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood or Black Flag (the latter of which could be getting an official remake).

Check out the Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection trailer below!

That being said, if I had to pick one favourite character, as much as I love Edward Kenway, my pick will always be Ezio Auditore da Firenze who oozes so much charisma, that he probably even charms himself.

In 2016, we were treated to Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection, featuring remasters of Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood and Revelations bundled with all previously released DLC. However, some could argue that those remasters did not launch in the best state.

If you’re one of those, then fear not, because this modded version showcased on the YouTube channel ‘Digital Dreams’, shows Ubisoft how it's done. That being said, you will need a capable PC and download all the required mods.

“Assassin's Creed II is an epic story of family, vengeance and conspiracy set in the pristine, yet brutal, backdrop of Renaissance Italy,” reads the synopsis of the game. “Ezio befriends Leonardo da Vinci, takes on Florence’s most powerful families and ventures throughout the canals of Venice where he learns to become a master assassin.”

Simply put, powered by NVIDIA RTX 3090 and BeyondallLimits with glorious reshade software and ray tracing, Assassin’s Creed II looks gorgeous in an 8K resolution at 60 frames per second.

Unfortunately, as is the case with most mods, this version of Assassin’s Creed II is a PC deal only. But you can play Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection (which has been improved) on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
