Assassin's Creed Syndicate finally has the remaster we've longed for

Assassin's Creed Syndicate has never looked better thanks to this remaster

It’s fair to say that the Assassin’s Creed series has been Ubisoft’s golden goose since the first game was released starring Altaïr Ibn-LaʼAhad in 2007 and it’s also fair to say that the series has evolved quite a lot too.

In recent years, the franchise has morphed into an RPG series with Assassin’s Creed Origins in 2017 followed by Odyssey and Valhalla. That being said, the most recent entry in the series, Assassin’s Creed Mirage has taken the series back to its roots, somewhat. Some could argue that the RPG foundations may have been built upon by the likes of Assassin’s Creed Unity and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, the latter of which is today’s topic of discussion.

Check out the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate trailer below!

Released in 2015, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate tells the story of Jacob and Evie Frye, a brother and sister twin duo and is set in: “London, 1868. In the heart of the Industrial Revolution, lead your underworld organization and grow your influence to fight those who exploit the less privileged in the name of progress.”

To this very day, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate still looks like a gorgeous game, especially when played on a high-end PC as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Yet, thanks to this fan-made remaster, Jacob and Evie Frye have never looked better.

As showcased on the YouTube channel Digital Dreams, this version of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is benefiting from a series of mods with ray tracing effects, improved textures and more, all while being powered by an RTX 4090 in a glorious 8K resolution at a super smooth 60fps.

The nine-minute gameplay video is a joy to behold. If only we could play this version of the game on consoles. If you want to run a similar version of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate on your PC, there is a guide to be found in the description of the YouTube video.

Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
