Zelda fans united over our 'perfect' live-action Ganondorf

The live-action Legend Of Zelda film is happening, it shouldn’t be, but it is and there’s nothing we can do about it.

It’s not all doom and gloom though as if Nintendo is overseeing it there’s a chance it might actually be good, as we were all sceptical about the Super Mario Bros Movie and look at how great that turned out.

While it wasn’t perfect by any means, the Super Mario Bros Movie did a great job of adapting the characters and locations from the games and produced a good story from them

That was animated though, The Legend Of Zelda film is going to use actual real-life actors and while faces like Tom Holland and Hunter Schafer are top picks for Link and Zelda respectively Ganondorf is a trickier fancast.

We might have found the best shout though, as some fans want Christopher Judge to play the menacing Zelda villain.

Many will know Christopher Judge as the voice and motion capture actor for Kratos in the rebooted God Of War games, a role he nailed in every sense so we know for a fact he can play powerful and imposing characters.

Reddit user _Eastman certainly thinks so too as they made a thread discussing how great Judge would be in the film, and commenters agreed.

“Well, he's already worked with Sony before, is a fantastic actor, and has more than the requisite gravitas. This is a perfect pick” said one Zelda fan.

“Ganondorf not bothering to try and learn Link's name and just keeps calling him "Boy", yeah that works” added another.

Honestly it’s a great choice and I’d personally love to see it happen, it just depends on which version of Ganondorf the film will be using.

The villain has taken many forms, from desert warrior, to pigman and calamity dragon-thing, so which interpretation the studio goes with will inform what actor is best-suited to play him in live-action.
