Whilst millions of Nintendo fans struggle to get their hands on the newly-released Nintendo Switch 2 either due to stock shortages or its extortionate price tag, others have no issue with either and are seemingly purchasing them just to destroy them.
Yep, I don’t know either.
Yesterday saw Nintendo fans lock their Nintendo Switch in the drawer and boot up its bigger and better successor thanks to the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2.

However, with some stores running out of stock already and Nintendo asking for a hefty sum of money for its latest hardware, it is no surprise that millions are having to go without.
That makes it all the more difficult to see the actions of Youtubers such as PlainRock124 who bought a Nintendo Switch 2 just to smash it to pieces moments later.
That is because PlainRock124 is known for breaking tech products with millions of viewers tuning into watch.
Whatever floats your boat I guess.

However, PlainRock124 also became the first person to be banned from Nintendo San Francisco after destroying his Nintendo Switch 2 in front of employees.
A clip of the moment in question has surfaced online and although it has not officially been confirmed that this was the reason for the ban, we can assume that it played a heavy role.
PlainRock124 has amassed more than 2.5 million subscribers on Youtube courtesy of his “Bored Smashing” content. This involves him finding different ways to destroy some well-known tech.
One of his most popular videos, at 74 million views, is titled ‘25 Ways to Break a Switch Lite’.

“Not kidding, they said I was the first person that’s banned from the store,” the Youtuber posted to Twitter, alongside an image of his now-destroyed Nintendo Switch 2.
Maybe I am finally getting old but it seems bizarre to me that this content is celebrated but hey, hopefully this ban will at least discourage him in the future.
