The incredibly action-packed trailer offers a glimpse at Super Meat Boy 3D’s new levels, traps, and characters.
We’re also told the trailer is home to several hidden secrets, so you best hit replay to see what you can spot.
I’ve already watched the trailer umpteen times in preparation to provide you this news and I still don’t think I’ve quite taken it all in. You’ll soon see what I mean.
"As a life-long gamer, being involved in the soundtrack of Super Meat Boy 3D was such an honor, albeit a true test of perseverance,” Despised Icon’s Steve Marcois said of his vocal contributions to the trailer.
“We started working on this song two years ago, and I must say I'm more than happy how it paid off while we were able to capture the emotion of the story.
“I hope our efforts are felt through the song, and that you'll enjoy the game as much as I do."

If you’re yet to watch the trailer, I implore you to because it’s only then that you’ll understand the true hilarity of Steve’s testimony.
If you’re unfamiliar with this franchise, I can delight in changing that for you.
Super Meat Boy 3D is a challenging, brutal platformer where players will assume the role of a cube of meat who finds himself on a mission to save his bandage-made girlfriend from an evil fetus in a tuxedo jar.
You know, your standard everyday happenings.
This time, Super Meat Boy’s shenanigans are playable in 3D.

You’ll traverse crumbling caves and flaming forests as you jump, run, and dodge your way to safety.
Devs describe the game as “brutal, but fair” with “levels designed to break you”, plus there are plenty of boss fights to undertake as if that wasn’t enough.
Super Meat Boy 3D will also include Dark World levels for those who yearn for an extra challenge, plus there’s a banging soundtrack.
Super Meat Boy 3D remains without a release date but you can look forward to it launching on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC this year.
