Pokémon TCG Pocket players find trick to make Wonder Picks easier

Pokémon TCG Pocket players find trick to make Wonder Picks easier

What a wonderful suggestion

If you’ve managed to avoid getting sucked into Pokémon TCG Pocket so far, congratulations because that’s an impressive feat.

For those of us desperately tearing open virtual Pokémon packs, we can’t get enough of the various tricks and tips that help us better our experience.

This rings even more true when you’re playing as a free-to-play because, let’s be honest, it takes an agonising amount of time to unlock everything.

What if we told you there’s a way to make Wonder Picks yield better all around.

The issue with them is the fact you have to spend stamina to make your selection, and after doing that you might not get anything worthwhile for your troubles.

Much like the booster packs, many players have come to the conclusion that Wonder Picks are predetermined.

Even though we know this in our heart of hearts, there are some who still believe you can work the system to your advantage.

God bless their optimistic souls.

One such “tip” that’s been put forward as producing better results is to continuously pick the same card spot every time.

“Let the cards choose you!” suggested Accomplished-Fan-408.

“At least this way you don't feel bad when you ‘picked wrong’ even though it's random. I find I'm less salty when it doesn't go my way because I'm just accepting what I'm given.”

Okay, so it’s not a way to make sure you always get a decent card, however, it definitely makes the process easier to deal with.

As for the best spot to choose, there are plenty of theorises on that.

One Redditor said, “All the good ones are bottom right. Everyone knows that.”

We can’t say we’ve tried this out for ourselves just yet, but what have we got to lose in trying?

“Top middle always,” countered CasualFan25.

Basically, there are plenty of “ideal spots” to tap.

Whether it’ll give you the card you want is still in doubt. Nonetheless, you’ll feel less bitter about disappointing picks if you accept that this is a feature outside of your control.
