Pokémon Pokopia Freebies Are Here, Only For a Limited Time

Pokémon Pokopia is out in the wild today, and players can now treat themselves to a brand new set of freebies to celebrate the release.

Even if you’re not playing Pokopia yet, you can get ahead of the game by grabbing these free icons on Nintendo Switch or Switch 2, available as part of any Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

As reported by NSO Icon Alerts, 11 new icons themed around Pokémon are available to grab from the Nintendo Switch Online app.

These icons include the likes of Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and Smeargle, each available for 10 Platinum Points. In addition to this, this batch of icons also includes some frames and backgrounds also inspired by the new game.

If you’d like to claim these icons and use them in your Nintendo Switch Online profile, be sure to redeem them before they’re gone on 1 April.

How To Claim Pokémon Pokopia Free Icons On Nintendo Switch Online

If you don’t know where or how to grab these icons, boot up your Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 and find the Nintendo Switch Online app on your home screen.

Once you’re in, go to the Missions and Rewards tab and you’ll find these new icons available for you to redeem. If you don’t have enough Platinum Points, you’ll need to perform the various tasks which are available.

These change on a daily or weekly basis, and usually involve doing different actions like playing a certain game or doing something specific in an online mode to earn the points.

Pokémon Pokopia is a new life simulation game that combines Pokémon with games like Minecraft and Animal Crossing.

In it, you play as a Ditto, where you need to build a settlement which houses various Pokémon from across each generation.

It’s out today on Nintendo Switch 2, and has been getting positive reviews so far.
