Nintendo has just released a bunch of free Kirby downloads for use on Switch and Switch 2, however you don’t have long to grab them.
With every Nintendo Switch Online subscription, fans are able to grab a bunch of free icons for use on their online profiles.
Icons are featured across a whole range of Nintendo franchises, including Super Mario, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Splatoon, and Animal Crossing.
To highlight the end of the year, Nintendo is featuring a bunch of flash reruns on Nintendo Switch Online icons, giving you a limited time to redeem icons that have been featured throughout the year.

As reported by NSO Icon Alerts on X (formerly Twitter), right now you can grab free icons based on Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
These icons feature Kirby in some of his various forms, as well as some frames and backgrounds that are also taken from the series.
However, you only have around 48 hours to grab them, as the reruns only run for a really short limited time before something new is cycled in. With new icon reruns being added each day, that means you can grab icons as part of two reruns at any one time.
Nintendo Switch Online Is Featuring Free Icon Reruns All Week
Meanwhile, you also still have time to pick up yesterday’s Nintendo Switch Online icon reruns, which feature a bunch of images from F-Zero 99.
To redeem these icons, boot up your Nintendo Switch or Switch 2 and then head to the Nintendo Switch Online app. From here, head to “Missions & Rewards” and you’ll find a screen that will allow you to download the icons.
Of course, you’ll also need to make sure you have the correct amount of Platinum Points that’ll allow you to claim these icons and add them to your profile.
Platinum Points can be earned from playing games or doing activities related to your Nintendo Switch Online subscription, so they’re relatively easy to acquire if you’re lacking enough points.
In addition to this, Nintendo is also featuring a bunch of Super Mario free icons too on the app. These designs are taken from games like Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Super Mario Odyssey, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and are available until tomorrow, 29 December.
It’s believed that a fresh selection of icons will be available in the new year, which occurs on Thursday next week.
