Nintendo Switch players are able to grab a free bonus freebie this month, and it’s a good one if you’re thinking of renewing your online subscription.

Nintendo Switch Online is a must-have subscription for any massive Nintendo fans, not only offering access to online multiplayer, but also giving you many free games in the form of Nintendo Classics.

But if you’d like to stretch your Switch Online subscription just a little bit further, Nintendo is now offering a deal that’ll allow you to get a bit more out of it.

Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 owners in specific regions who subscribe to a new 12-month subscription can now get an extra 2 months for free. The offer also exists for those who wish to extend their subscription.

This applies to both the standard Nintendo Switch Online subscription and the Expansion Pack tier. The offer is currently available in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

As for when the offer expires, you have a few weeks to grab the offer. Nintendo is running this promotion until 30th September.

Nintendo Switch Online allows you to play online multiplayer with friends and other players from around the world, as well as access to additional content like DLC, save data cloud, and Switch 2 upgrades for some games.

You also have access to Nintendo Classics, a series of apps which allow you to play older games from the NES, SNES, Mega Drive, Game Boy, N64, and GameCube.

It's probably the best way to play The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time at the moment without breaking the bank getting a 3DS or original Nintendo 64.

With it being priced starting at £17.99 for a standard annual subscription (and £34.99 for the Expansion Pack), it’s not a bad price really when you consider everything that comes with it.

But this deal should at least allow you to get more bang for your buck.
