Nintendo Switch users have a new collection of icons to add to their collection, provided they’ve got the points to spend.

It’s surprising how few updates have been released for the social side of the Nintendo Switch, we don’t even have backgrounds for the console aside from the light and dark mode the console launched with.

The Legend Of Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom looks like it’ll be a refreshing twist for the series, and can see it for yourself in the trailer below

We also don’t have anything that even comes close to the Miiverse from the Nintendo Wii U era, which sadly came to an end earlier this year.

All we have are icons, little digital collectable images of some of our favourite Nintendo characters that we can attach to our profile, including some backgrounds and frames to spice them up a bit.

The other day we covered the latest Super Mario icons that have been added to the selection, as it is rotated quite frequently, but today we’re talking about a different line-up, Splatoon 3.

You can now grab a wide variety of colourful and stylish Splatoon icons with your Platinum Points, which you earn naturally as you play games, complete surveys, finish challenges etc.

There are a few different characters featured but there are also some lovely little art pieces like the in-game graffiti, so definitely check them out if you’re a fan of the games.

Each one will set you back 10 coins each, and unfortunately you won’t be able to mix and match them with previous sets, there’s no way of sticking a Splatoon character and a Mario background together, for some reason.

These won’t last forever so grab as many as you’d like before the next rotation, which will be another game series made by Nintendo.
