Hype for the Nintendo Switch 2 is increasing now that we’re in 2025.

We’re only in the first week of January, yet leaks have been coming through thick and fast with details about Nintendo’s new hardware.

There’s a lot of information to work through to find nuggets of truth.

However, this particular leak has seemingly revealed several games purportedly destined to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Thankfully, the intended titles are exactly the kind of content gamers have been crying out for.

Nintendo Music is, well, music to our ears. Check out the trailer below

As detailed on the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit, a well-known insider has revealed that a new Mario Kart experience is on the way.

That’s already a promising start, if true.

However, there’s also mention of Custom Robo “sequel”, and of “Smash-like concept” for Project X Zone.

In response to that, user WeskersBallz said, “Project X Zone??? Please god be real.”

There's a lot to get excited about here.

And try as they might, fans can’t help but leave logic behind as they dream about what could be once the Switch 2 is available.

Still, we must remember that this is an “incomplete list” of supposed rumours/leaks.

Furthermore, the insider who detailed all of this information has stated that this is simply an overview of everything they’ve heard, and thus they can’t confirm the authenticity of the leak.

Gamers also need to possibly temper their expectations now that the specs of the upcoming console have apparently been revealed.

It seems the hardware we’ll be getting isn’t nearly as powerful as we’d anticipated.

There’s much excitement in the air, but there’s also uncertainty as well.

We’ve been waiting a long time for the Switch 2 and its upgraded experience; the idea that it might fall short of our expectations is an unpleasant reality to grapple with.

But for now, we can be pleased that the games coming to the Switch 2 appear to be bangers in the making.
