Nintendo fans can claim this free download for Valentine's Day
Love is in the air with Valentine’s Day arriving tomorrow in which we all love to channel our inner McLovin (probably) or for everyone else, it’s just another day to play our beloved video games.
Whether you’re bothered about Valentine’s Day or not, Nintendo is offering a sweet freebie for you to download right now, and it’s an added treat if you’re a fan of Super Mario and everyone’s favourite Princess.

In just over a month, Prince Peach is getting her very own video game, Princess Peach: Showtime for Nintendo Switch. “Princess Peach and friends arrive at the Sparkle Theater to see a show when the wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch suddenly make their grand entrance and take centre stage,” reads the description of the game. “The perfect performance has become a terrible tragedy and it’s up to Peach to save the play – and the day!”
“Use the power of the ribbon Peach receives from the theatre’s guardian Stella to face off against the Sour Bunch and save the performers! By transforming, Peach gains new abilities,” the description continues. “Turn into a swordfighter to fend off the Sour Bunch with sensational swordplay or a detective to investigate clues and track down whodunit. With more stolen shows to save, many other transformations are just behind the curtain, including a pastry chef and a kung fu master!”
In celebration of Princess Peach: Showtime and of course, Valentine’s Day, Nintendo is gifting us with a total of six high-quality PDF cards for us to download today. Each of the six cards represents some of the sassy costumes that Princess Peach will be wearing in her upcoming game as well as some wonderfully cheesy puns.
If you don't want to download the cards for Valentine’s Day or don’t have a printer at home, they might also make for decent wallpapers for your mobile devices when cropped.
Princess Peach: Showtime will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on Friday 22 March 2024.
