Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro reveal left something to be desired.

The console will, if you haven’t heard, set you back a small fortune.

The PlayStation 5 Pro boasts an improved GPU and enhanced ray tracing, plus AI-driven upscaling has been introduced.

That’ll set you back a whopping £699.99 for a digital console, with another £99.99 on top for a disc drive and £24.99 for a vertical stand.

As such, I don’t think there’s many of us even considering making such a purchase.

With that in mind, Nintendo has the perfect opportunity to swoop in and deliver us a stellar deal with the announcement of the Nintendo Switch 2 - or whatever the Switch’s successor is to be called.

We know that an announcement is coming by the end of the fiscal year but we’re going to have to wait a little while yet.

Nintendo is poised to make a hardware announcement but it’s not about the Nintendo Switch 2.

Nope. More bundles are on the way.

Emio - The Smiling Man is a must-play on the Nintendo Switch. Take a look at the game’s trailer below.

Five more Nintendo Switch bundles are reportedly on the way, according to reliable leaker billbil-kun.

Out of the five bundles, two are set to be centred around the Nintendo Switch Lite although the exact contents of those bundles remains unknown.

It’s believed that these will be priced at €219.

It’s thought that a Nintendo Switch Sports bundle will then be launched for €299, including a copy of the game alongside a classic Nintendo Switch console and 12-months membership to Nintendo Switch Online.

The last two are then set to feature Nintendo Switch OLED models.

One would be bundled with a download code for Super Mario Bros. Wonder with a three-month Nintendo Switch Online subscription included for €349.

The latter’s contents are unknown but will also reportedly set you back €349.

It certainly feels like Nintendo is preparing for the Christmas influx of sales, no Nintendo Switch successor in sight.
