If you are anything like me, then you will appreciate any excuse to return to the neon-soaked streets of Night City and it seems as though CD Projekt RED agrees.

First introduced to us back in 2020 with the not-so-smooth launch of Cyberpunk 2077, Night City soon cemented itself as one of the most iconic locations in video game history.

Known for its neon-lit streets, dust-littered deserts, and towering skyscrapers, Night City is the kind of place which we all love any excuse to return to.

Luckily, CD Projekt RED is making that possible thanks to a brand-new competition.

First announced on the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account, CD Projekt RED is hosting another Photo Mode contest with the winner bagging themselves some exclusive prizes.

“Night City isn’t just in the game — it’s wherever you bring it,” the social media post reads.

“Take a photo of you, your Nintendo Switch™ 2 or your setup playing Cyberpunk 2077 in the most Cyberpunk spot or way you can find.”

Once you have found your real-life cyberpunk-inspired location and snapped your photos, you will need to upload the final result to the dedicated Cyberpunk 2077 Discord channel or forum.

Your art will then be considered but if you are still unsure, here are the official instructions from CDPR itself:

  1. Take a photo of yourself with your Nintendo Switch™ 2 system in handheld or docked setup with Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition running on the console and visible in the picture.
  2. Make sure it’s in the most Cyberpunk place you can find — neon lights, futuristic vibes, or anything that feels like Night City!
  3. Upload your photo to a dedicated room on the Official Cyberpunk 2077 Discord Server or to the dedicated thread on the official Community Forum.

This brand-new competition kicked off on 07/10/2025 and will run until 20/10/2025 at 00:00 PM CEST.

After this, the winner will be picked and announced publicly on 30/10/2025.

With some “exclusive prizes” on offer, you really have nothing to lose and it will be the perfect way to showcase your love of both Night City and Cyberpunk 2077 itself.

Although the comments under the announcement Tweet consist more of fans begging for more content, especially multiplayer content, this is still an exciting contest to say the least and with CD Projekt RED being hard at work on the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 sequel, it will be the perfect time to spend time during.

So if you want to show off your photography skills, do not miss out on this limited-time Cyberpunk 2077 competition.
