Our whimsy has returned in spades thanks to this new Animal Crossing release.

We’re not the only ones overjoyed, the Animal Crossing fandom is as well (by and large).

If, like me, you used Animal Crossing: New Horizons to survive lockdown, you crave any and all details about new Animal Crossing experiences.

It's time to go camping with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete

We play other cosy games, but they don’t always deliver the same wholesome atmosphere as this Nintendo creation does.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete is finally here!

Its launch is one that feels a tad controversial, given the fact that Pocket Camp used to be free but now you have to purchase it.

Still, while not everyone is fully on board with this decision, most are delighted to see it return it its newly launched form.

“Thank you!!! I'm so happy you have done a great job creating this version. Now I feel complete,” posted Twitter user @violet_ACPC.

“I love this game thank you,” shared @moomoomellow.

User @SassyAssiana said, “This means Pocket Camp is its own thing now!! Thank you for stepping up as a company and caring about your players instead of just taking the game away as a whole.”

There are some features that players would like to change to ensure it feels just as connected as the old app, but initial feedback is extremely positive.

If you’d prefer something different, as in totally different, then this spiritual successor to Animal Crossing might be one to keep an eye on.

It’s being developed by Ubisoft, which feels like such a weird sentence to type but here we are.

Darker days are here, and the bitterly cold nights are rolling in.

But at our camps we know joy, friendship, and laughter.

Awww.

If you’re ready to pitch your tent in Pocket Camp Complete, you can download it on both Apple and Android devices.
