If you’re a fan of the beloved Nintendo series Animal Crossing, then you need to check out these adorable collectables arriving later this year.

It’s baffling when you think that the Animal Crossing series has been around for nearly a quarter of a century at this point, yet, despite tons of releases across multiple console generations, it’s more popular now than it was in 2001.

Check out the Animal Crossing: New Horizons trailer below!

“Paradise Planning needs you! Join Lottie and her resort development team to help turn vacation home dreams into reality,” reads the synopsis of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, released for the Nintendo Switch in 2020.

For millions of gamers, Animal Crossing: New Horizons was credited for helping them get through the COVID-19 pandemic by not only keeping players entertained with its life-sim charm and racking up the debt with Tom Nook but also keeping players connected across the world by visiting each other's paradise islands.

At this time, we don't know when a new entry in the Animal Crossing series will arrive on Nintendo Switch but we do know that a popular re-release is on the way to mobile devices later this year.

Yet, if you want something else aside from the Animal Crossing video game goodness, as reported by Nintendo Life (via Siliconera), these cute plushies might be for you from Japanese retailer, San-ei.

The plushies in question are Goldie (23cm), Sasha (24cm) and finally, Stitches (19cm) and are expected to arrive in the Land of the Rising Sun sometime during mid-December this year.

There is currently no mention of global retailers, but if all else fails, I’m sure we can track down plenty of third-party retailers that specialise in selling anime and Japanese-related video game goodies. In turn, we have no details on prices just yet either.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is out now on the Nintendo Switch, while Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete arrives on mobile devices on 3 December 2024.
