That being said, there’s still a long wait ahead until we can finally get our hands on the game, with hints from Rockstar Games’ publisher, Take-Two, suggesting it’ll release sometime in 2025.

Luckily, gameplay leaks have been flooding the internet recently, giving fans a sneak peek at what could be in store for them and a closer look at the new and improved Vice City, where the game will be set.

Fans have spent hours combing through the leaks for as much information as they can find, and now believe there’s evidence to suggest one of the side quests will involve hunting down a serial killer.

Reddit user ML-Fox shared info in a thread regarding a “Missing Tourist” questline, saying: “Hi, in one of the leaked clips, we can see the dev accessing some sort of event board. There is a ton of interesting information on there, but one of them is the Missing Tourists event line featuring multiple events.”

The post then highlighted some of the locations where victims can be found as part of the quest, including submerged vehicles, junkyards, a cave, a trailer and more. One location even hints at a Trophy room, suggesting the GTA VI protagonists will find themselves in the killer’s lair at some point, where they’ll find belongings or other disturbing items.

It’s not the first time Rockstar has included something like this in one of their games. Grand Theft Auto V had a serial killer side quest that took inspiration from the real-life Zodiac killer, and Red Dead Redemption 2 featured a vampire you could track down after finding certain notes around a town.

It sounds like Rockstar is going all-in with content for GTA VI, which is bound to make fans even more excited and restless as they wait for a release date.
