Even if you’re not a visual learner, you’ll appreciate how much GTA has grown since GTA V when you compare it with the GTA VI map.

We always knew that GTA VI would be an upgrade to what we’ve experienced before, but few expected the leap between the two games to be so noticeable.

YouTube channel Dark Space shared a video piecing together the various GTA VI leaks to highlight the difference.

If you want to jump ahead to those map comparisons, they start at (roughly) the four minute mark.

We’ve got to say, seeing the two side by side really puts into perspective how much effort Rockstar Games has put into GTA VI.

Furthermore, it might explain why it’s so guarded about that second trailer. You know, the one that feels like a myth.

“This kind of creativity is what you get when it takes over a year to get another trailer,” joked @GamingGrenade1.

It is mighty impressive.

“This is gonna be fun to rewatch after the game is out,” @AskonDBZ shared.

Now that the GTA VI file size has leaked, we can breathe a sigh of relief that news about the map size isn’t all speculation, there’s truth to it as well.

Another user said, “Wow putting the map into GTA V really shows the scale that rockstar is going for.”

This is all well and good, but the fandom is losing its mind over the latest second trailer development, further demonstrating that Rockstar needs to act.

The meltdowns will likely carry on until that second trailer drops. And even then, it’ll continue until the game is released.

In short, we’ll never be free of its grip.

However, we can rest easy knowing that GTA VI is a massive game with a map jam packed full of details for us to explore and admire.
