A subtle Rockstar Games development has GTA VI fans losing their minds over the prospect of the second trailer arriving soon.

By now, we all know that the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is on the way. After all, leaks and rumours regarding GTA VI have been running rampant across social media for years.

When GTA VI finally arrives, it will no doubt be the biggest story in the video game industry. Heck, whenever a new trailer arrives, it garners more hype than most major AAA releases.

In December 2022, Rockstar Games released the first trailer for GTA VI and to say that fans went into a meltdown would be an understatement. At the time of writing, the debut trailer on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel has over 224 million views (and counting).

It’s now been a year since that trailer was released and on its anniversary month, fans are hoping that trailer two for GTA VI will be revealed before we enter 2025. Whether that happens or not, we’ll know in the coming days.

Understandably, fans are bracing themselves for GTA VI trailer two and a recent development on the Rockstar Games YouTube channel might suggest that it could be happening soon or at least we hope.

Pretty much all major YouTube channels for video games have a trailer pinned to the homepage. For example, the Call of Duty channel currently has the trailer for season one of its multiplayer content.

For Rockstar Games it has the debut GTA VI trailer pinned, well, it did. As spotted by Reddit user Affectionate-Mode766, interestingly, that trailer is no longer pinned to the homepage.

This could mean absolutely nothing and it could very well be replaced by a new trailer related to GTA Online or Red Dead Online. Heck, it might not even be replaced by another trailer anytime soon.

That being said, the fact that the first GTA VI trailer has been pinned on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel for 12 months and has recently been removed on its first anniversary, is interesting.

“I’m losing my mind,” exclaimed Reviever, expressing their thoughts with a gif.

“I also checked. It was pinned yesterday, not pinned now,” said manysleep.

“I'm fully expecting them to give us a VI screenshot in their Happy Holidays Newswire alongside something like "see you for Trailer 2 in February" and be done for the day,” replied a hopeful Nexusu.

The chances are that when news drops related to the second GTA VI trailer, it will probably happen on a random late afternoon as we’re all making our way home from work. We’ll keep you posted when that happens.

Grand Theft Auto VI is currently expected to be released in late 2025 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The inevitable PC release is yet to be announced officially.
