Will GTA VI be worth the wait? This new teaser from Take-Two Interactive suggests it will be.

The lack of GTA VI content, specifically a second trailer, is a source of amusement at this point.

After winning its first award without even being out yet, fans can’t help but laugh at the meagre scraps Rockstar Games is feeding them.

You laugh or you cry.

Naturally, such a delay in new content is splitting the fandom; while some believe it unfair, others believe Rockstar should take its time.

It matters little how you feel in reality, given the fact that Rockstar and its parent company, Take-Two, are the only ones with any real say here.

It's something at the very least, so let's all watch the GTA VI trailer for the umpteenth time

Still, when updates like this one are shared, most gamers can’t help but feel hyped.

During an interview with YouTuber Conner Mather, Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick spoke of how “extraordinary” the new GTA will be.

In an attempt to squeeze more information from Zelnick, Mather asked what had the CEO so excited.

In true Take-Two fashion, Zelnick offered little by way of an answer.

However, he did say that it’ll be a “breathtaking” experience.

Nothing is being given away here, which is a tad frustrating. That said, the minimal details keep on reinforcing that GTA VI will be one of the biggest gaming occasions of the year, maybe even ever.

That doesn’t mean it can’t all go wrong and fans hate it upon release, but such an outcome seems highly unlikely at this point... We hope.

Now comes the bit that nobody wants to hear, the fact that a 2026 launch date is being heavily suggested by numerous sources.

Industry insider Jason Schreier has spoken about how “shocked” they’d be if Rockstar manages to release the title in autumn 2025.

It’s a topic that’s sending fans over the edge at the prospect of having to wait even longer.

What comes next in terms of that second trailer is anyone’s guess.

At least we can rest easy knowing it'll all be worth it in the end, so says Zelnick.
