With the likes of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and Thor: Love and Thunder hitting cinemas this year, it’s easy to forget that this March, we also saw the release of the excellent Disney+ series, Moon Knight.
Since the first season’s conclusion in May, things have gone pretty quiet as far as plans for the show’s future go, but things might have just changed. As reported by ComicBook, one TikToker may have just got confirmation that a second season is happening, from none other than screenwriter Mohamed Diab and lead Oscar Isaac.
Before we get into it, take a look at this incredible 3D printed Moon Knight mask in the video below.
In a short video, hayaattiaaa straight up asks if there’s “a season two”, to which Isaac simply replies: “Why else would we be in Cairo?” Take a look below.
So, that seems to pretty much confirm it, unless the pair just really wanted to tease fans. This is surprising news though, as it was only in May that Isaac claimed that there were no plans to continue the show beyond its first season.

“You know, I think we approached it as 'this is the story,’ and let’s just put everything out on the table on this story,” he told Radio Times at the time. “There's definitely no official plans to continue it. I think it would depend on what the story is [...] That being said, I love being Steven, I just love it. It’s just like, physically, it's so much fun to be him. So, you know, if there was a story that really made sense, I'd be happy to be part of it.”
Isaac’s co-star, May Calamaway (AKA Layla El-Faouly in the show) basically said the same thing at the time, too: “I've not heard anything so if there [are plans], I'm yet to hear. If there were, I would, yeah, I'd consider returning. Of course.”
