Always set to be a star of Nintendo's E3 2019 Direct, Animal Crossing for Switch didn't disappoint, delivering exactly the kind of relaxed cuteness fans of the series have come to expect.
Titled Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the game puts the player on what seems to be a deserted island, and charges them with bringing a community to the place.
Unfortunately, the game's previously announced release date of sometime in 2019 has taken a hit, as Nintendo work towards making New Horizons everything they want it to be.
The game will now come out in March 2020. On March 20, 2020, to be precise. Which isn't all that far away, is it?
Okay, so it is a bit longer of a wait than we were expecting, but: release date confirmed! And that's what we come to these Directs for, isn't it?
