MrBeast’s success seemingly knows no limit, with his recent video quickly garnering his highest recorded views in under 24 hours.

Popular YouTuber and philanthropist MrBeast has smashed several records over his years as a content creator, such as when he surpassed PewDiePie in subscribers or broke the record for the most new subscribers in a week back in 2019.

The content creator has gained notoriety online through a variety of stunts and giveaways, some of which he faces significant backlash for, such as giving 20,000 African children free pairs of shoes. His main channel currently has nearly 160 million subscribers, as well as over 12 million subscribers on his second channel.

Recently, the YouTube superstar broke one of his own records with his newest escapade “$1 vs $1,000,000,000 yacht” which has become the most viewed video on his channel in under 24 hours, a record previously held by his “$456,000 Squid Game In Real Life!” video.

Sitting at a comfortable 71,524,900 views at the time of writing, the video is essentially MrBeast, his friends and special guests Pete Davidson and Tom Brady climbing aboard different yachts of increasing value and comparing their qualities and commodities.

Not long after posting the video, MrBeast tweeted, “So far the video is outperforming my Squid Game video”, later adding the follow up, “Beat Squid Games by five million views. Second most viewed video in YouTube history in 24 hours right behind Chris rock slapping Will smith lol.”

It’s an impressive feat to say the least, especially given the drastic difference in production value. For context, the Squid Game video needed large sets built for the “games”, contestants and of course the cash prize at the end, so given how the recent video was just looking at some cool yachts, it's impressive that it smashed the record so easily. The real question is: What will be his next wild idea?
