There are just a few days to go until Marvel Rivals releases and players have just received their first look at an unlikely partnership courtesy of a brand-new trailer.

It has been a long time coming but the third-person hero shooter Marvel Rivals is set to launch on 6 December.

Moon Knight will also be playable in Marvel Rivals. Check him out below!

Developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games, Marvel Rivals will be a free-to-play shooter featuring 33 characters from our favourite movies, television shows and comics.

Not only that but we can expect the roster to be increased in the future so if your favourite character isn’t already available, they might be before long.

Luckily that is not a concern for fans of Wolverine and the Hulk as the two have recently been spotted together in the latest Marvel Rivals launch trailer.

Showing off the Fastball Special (a move in Super Hero fiction where one super-strong hero throws a willing partner towards a target), we can see the pair in all their glory.

Hulk is looking pretty standard - big, green and angry whereas Wolverine is looking a lot different to how we last saw him in Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine this summer.

This Wolverine is definitely not based on Hugh Jackman and has apparently received a blow dry before turning up to the Marvel Rivals’ roster.

Despite his bouffant, fans are over the moon to see the pair together and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

“This looks insane,” one user commented.

Another said, “Yeah, we won.”

As mentioned, Marvel Rivals will feature 33 heroes upon launch and that includes some much-loved characters such as Captain America, Venom, Scarlet Witch, Black Panther, Iron Man, Storm, Winter Soldier and many more.

Not only that but every hero will be playable from the start and won’t need to be “unlocked” via in-game or real-life currency.

As an Overwatch fan myself, Blizzard could never.
