If you thought an ultimate team-up couldn't get any better than the Avengers or the Justice League, think again because an epic Marvel and DC crossover is on the way.

Crossovers are nothing new in both comics and animated movies which has graced us with the likes of Batman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Predator and Archie, Superman and Aliens, and much more. There have even been crossover comics involving Marvel and DC which began in the 1970s.

Check out the Batman vs. TMNT trailer below!

Of course, getting your mitts on those comics nowadays might cost you a pretty penny from independent sellers. But if you missed out on some of the epic crossovers of yesteryear, more preciously Marvel and DC, then today’s news is something that you might want to hear.

As shared in a tweet from Culture Crave, comic book issues that have been long out of print are making a comeback. Tripwire Magazine reports that Superman vs. The Amazing Spider-Man (1976), Dark Claw Adventures (1997) and Batman/Daredevil: King of New York (2000) are set to be re-released on 6 August 2024. However, that is not all because the DC/Marvel: The Amalgam Age Omnibus and DC Versus Marvel Omibus are also being reprinted.

It probably goes without saying that those reprints at least in physical form will fly off the shelves like hotcakes, so you might want to check your favourite comic book retailers to get your pre-orders in ASAP to avoid missing out. At the very least, the DC and Marvel reprints should have unlimited access when it comes to digital media. But it should really go without saying that nothing is better than reading a proper physical comic book.

Unfortunately, it’s very unlikely that we’ll ever see Marvel and DC crossover in a live-action movie, but it would amazing to see a new animation event one day. Wishful thinking, I know.
