Leaked 'Titanfall 3 teaser' breaks fans' hearts

Leaked 'Titanfall 3 teaser' breaks fans' hearts

A supposed leaked 'Titanfall 3 teaser' has left fans feeling heartbroken.

With Titanfall 3 showing no signs of ever releasing, teasers that have begun floating around the internet are leading to fans getting their hopes crushed.

The Titanfall franchise has become one of the most loved FPS shooters since it was first released back in 2014. It was later followed by a sequel in 2016 but was soon pushed to the back with games in the same genre, such as Call of Duty and Battlefield, taking centre stage. With fans looking forward to Titanfall 3, they would be disappointed as Respawn Entertainment instead turned their attention to Apex Legends, the battle-royale set in the same universe.

With the only signs of Titanfall lore appearing in Apex Legends, fans are losing hope that a third instalment will ever be released. Now thanks to one Titanfall 3 teaser trailer circulating the internet, what would usually be a cause to celebrate has been crushed as many believe it is fake.

The video in question was shared to Twitter by JHaleStorm and consists of 30-seconds of gunfire sound effects with the words ‘Worldwide Reveal 10/27/2023’ appearing on the black screen. Although the announcement bears the Titanfall font and the sole number ‘3’, many still believe it to be fake but that’s understandable considering how many times fans have been let down in recent years.

One comment on the teaser trailer read, “Pretty sure a 10-year-old could make that in a video editor. Very fake.” It wasn’t long before others agreed saying, “Not a real teaser. Account it originated from was made four days ago and they couldn't even get the right title. Most definitely a troll capitalising TF|2's resurgence.”

With no confirmation from Respawn Entertainment, it remains to be seen if anything will be announced on 27 October but until then, it’s worth taking this teaser trailer with an enormous pinch of salt.
