KSI loses it at scalpers reselling his new energy drink for £100

KSI loses it at scalpers reselling his new energy drink for £100

KSI isn't impressed by stores and fans who are trying to resell his PRIME energy drink for ridiculous prices.

An energy drink has taken the world by storm in recent months. I’m talking about PRIME. The joint venture between KSI and Logan Paul has sent fans, quite literally, into a frenzy. You may have seen videos of squabbling hordes rushing into supermarkets in a bid to try and get their hands on the product.

Why? Well, that evades me. It’s simply an energy drink - one which I cannot tell you if it’s tasty or not, but it’s definitely proven to be a hit. PRIME was unveiled in early 2022, selling out instantly in the US. The drink landed in the UK in June but hit the headlines in recent weeks after budget-friendly supermarket Aldi started stocking the product on its shelves. PRIME is such a hot commodity that it’s gained the attention of scalpers, but KSI isn’t impressed with those who are trying to make a profit using PRIME.

Take a look at some of our favourite livestream wins and fails below.

As reported by Dexerto, KSI has responded to stores and scalpers who are attempting to sell the energy drink for £100. One UK store knocked the price up after receiving a flavour that is due for a UK release in April. Some fans are even spending as much as £1,200. I really wish someone could explain the fascination with PRIME to me. I really don’t get it.

Anyway, in a new TikTok, KSI advised fans to stop spending ridiculous amounts of money. “Oh my god, no. He can’t keep getting away with this,” the streamer said, responding to the UK seller charging £1,200. “Stop buying these prices.” Well, KSI screamed more than he ‘said’. He certainly wasn’t impressed by the price hike.

The plot thickens, my friends. The shop in question - Wakey Wines - has now been banned from TikTok. In addition to advertising a multipack at £1,200, Wakey Wines also offered customers single cans for £100 each. The shop owner has since claimed that his videos were ‘all for fun.’
