Ranking the Best Games on PlayStation Plus in March 2026

PS Plus has so many games to play!

PlayStation Plus is stacked full of fantastic games from all genres and generations. There’s so much content that it can feel a little overwhelming. But today, I’ll pick out some of my personal recommendations.

Regardless of the tier, whether it’s PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra or Premium, you’re never short of games to play, and no, it doesn't count when we can’t make our minds up.

Of course, the higher the tier that we subscribe to, the top tier being PlayStation Plus Premium, we’ll have tons more games to play, which go as far back as the retro PS1. Not to mention this tier offers cloud streaming, a curated selection of movies, trials and more.

With that in mind, all of my recommendations are included in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers. That being said, if any were included in PS Plus Essential at any point, and you added them to your library, they too might be included in my list.

Top PlayStation Plus Recommendations for March 2026

Bloodborne

One of FromSoftware's finest

Bloodborne
Sony Interactive Entertainment

One of the greatest offerings from famed developer FromSoftware, which sits firmly alongside the likes of Dark Souls and Elden Ring. Bloodborne throws us into the gruelling gothic world of Yharnam and beyond. As a Hunter, we’ll fight challenging enemies and huge bosses as we gradually uncover the secrets of his hellhole. Bloodborne is one of the best games of all time, and it needs to be played.

1/7

God of War (2018)

The Norse gods should have left Kratos alone

The angry antics of Kratos have been at the forefront of the PlayStation brand since the original God of War on the PS2 in 2005. Kratos is now a little more chill, but no less ruthless when his loved ones are in danger. Moving on from slaying the Gods of Olympus, Kratos now resides in Scandinavia with his son, Atreus. However, when trouble comes knocking on his door, the Norse gods will have hell to pay.

2/7

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

Web-slinging has never been better!

A remaster of the game that was originally released on the PlayStation 4 in 2018. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered features high-octane combat that fans of the Batman: Arkham series will appreciate. Improved visuals, performance and more, this is a glorious PS5 remaster. Not to mention it arguably has the best web-slinging gameplay ever in the history of Spider-Man games. Marvel’s Spider-Man is one of the best games on PS4, and its remaster can hold the same claim on PS5.

Red Dead Redemption

John Marston's life after RDR2

Widely considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time, Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption is a timeless classic. Explore the wild west as John Marston, with its events taking place after 2018’s RDR2. This western masterpiece has a gripping story from start to finish, fantastic gunslinging action, tons of fun side-quests, and best of all, it’s recently received a new-gen upgrade on PS5.

4/7

Silent Hill 2 (2023)

A horror like no other

Pyramid Head in Silent Hill 2
Konami

A remake of 2001’s Silent Hill 2 from Konami. Silent Hill 2 is also considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time. It’s a different kind of survival horror to the likes of Resident Evil, with more of a focus on psychological torment for its protagonist, James Sunderland, when he ventures into the foggy town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his dead wife. This remake has improved gameplay, graphics, new areas and story beats. If you love horror, you need to play this!

5/7

The Last of Us Part I

One of the greatest remade

When The Last of Us was originally released on the PlayStation 3 towards the end of the console's life cycle in 2013, Naughty Dog pushed the system to its absolute limits. So much so that it could have passed as a next-gen game at the time.

It’s a story of a once-loving family man, Joel, who has been shaped by a cruel tragedy during the early days of the cordyceps outbreak. Joel now pushes everyone he loves away, that was until the arrival of Ellie, a teenage girl who’s faced her fair share of tragedy too. I don’t want to give too much away, because if you’ve never played The Last of Us, this 2022 remake is a masterpiece revitalised, and you need to experience one of the greats today.

6/7

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection

You'll love Nathan Drake!

I nearly put Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection in this list, which includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, with them being technically superior to their predecessors. However, there’s no better place to start when it all began (apart from Golden Abyss, which is sadly not included in these remasters), and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection offers that very destination.

This collection of Naughty Dog goodness includes remasters of the original Uncharted trilogy starring the cocky but charismatic Nathan Drake as he globetrots the world, Indiana Jones style, on treasure hunts. However, Nathan can’t help but get mixed up in all sorts of trouble, and this is where the fun is really at. I’ll say no more, but if you love action-adventure games, then you could do much worse than remasters of the Uncharted trilogy.

7/7

Those are just a few of my personal PlayStation Plus recommendations, a small snippet of the hundreds of games available with the subscription service. Hopefully, you’ll find joy this March 2026 with at least one of the above.
