An open-world Justice League game is coming next year

DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos is an adorable upcoming open-world game pitting Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman against Mister Mxyzptlk nefarious aims and his team of the most powerful supervillains from the comics.

Coming to PC and all consoles, the game is being developed by PHL Collective which has adapted other properties like Ben 10 and The Addams Family into games too. This one is likely to appeal to the smaller people in your household, but we'll be damned if we don't admit it's cute. As well as swapping between playing Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman with their respective abilities, characters like Green Lantern, the Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman will pop up to assist the heroes in their plight.

"DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos gives you the freedom to play your way in action-packed missions, gruelling fights and daring challenges! Fly around Happy Harbor as Superman or propel yourself through the sky as Wonder Woman, the choice is yours!" reads the game's description from publishers Outright Games and Bandai Namco. Batman has access to explosive Batarangs, Superman has his heat vision and super breath, and Wonder Woman possesses truth pull to complete the levels and discover secrets as the player explores. Those who have a nose for these things will be able to find new outfits and special upgrades like Green Arrow's bow and Raven's cloak scattered across Happy Harbour. Last but not least, there's a two player couch co-op Instant Action Mode that lets you play collaboratively to save the world.

The game arrives on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on 10 March, 2023.
