Marvel’s Netflix favourites could finally be returning to the MCU in the upcoming Daredevil series, according to an insider.

Excited for Daredevil: Born Again? You should be. Following his, ahem, antics with Jennifer Walters in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) is going to be gracing our screens once more in his new series on Disney+, sometime in 2024. Unfortunately, it’s still a bit of a wait, but rest assured that it’s happening.

Kicking off Phase Five of the Marvel Cinematic Universe next month is Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - take a look at the trailer below.

It’s apparently not just Matt Murdock who’ll be making a comeback, though. As Dexerto reports, according to prevalent leaker MyTimeToShineHello on Twitter, both Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and the Punisher (Jon Bernthal) will appear in the show.

“Jessica Jones is back and not just for Daredevil,” the leaker initially tweeted. They were then asked by another Twitter user if the Punisher is still going to be in the show, to which they replied: “Also yes.”

This isn’t the first time that an insider has claimed that Bernthal’s Punisher will be returning. Last year, podcaster Tom Smith tweeted: “Basically Born Again is re-introducing the Netflix characters to the mainstream and they planned to bring in [Krysten] Ritter but there’s a scheduling problem for Born Again. So they needed another Netflix star to fill the role. It’s Jon Bernthal. Wouldn’t be shocked if Ritter cameos [though].”

Things don’t completely line up between these two claims since MyTimeToShineHello has stated that Ritter will be in Daredevil, although maybe it's just for a small cameo like Smith suggested. Or perhaps whatever scheduling problem she supposedly had has been ironed out? Obviously though, this is all completely unconfirmed at the time of writing, so do take it with a big pinch of salt until we get an official update.
