Jamie Foxx’s family are reportedly “preparing for the worst” as the actor remains in hospital after a month-long stint due to a “serious medical complication”.

Foxx was originally rushed to hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, in April. He was shooting a new movie, titled Back In Action, in Atlanta at the time. It was the actor’s daughter Corinne Foxx who shared the news to social media, writing, “We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family.”

It’s believed that Foxx was admitted on 11 April. On 3 May, Foxx then took to Instagram himself, simply writing, “Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed.” It seemed as if the actor was recovering well. In recent days though, fresh reports appear to suggest that Foxx’s condition remains an ongoing concern. A source told TMZ that Foxx “needs all the prayers and well-wishes his fans can muster”.

Another source told Radar Online that the actor’s family are “hoping for the best” yet also “preparing for the worst”. They added, “Jamie’s people are saying he’s doing OK and improving, while doctors try to get to the bottom of his problems - but he wouldn’t be in a hospital this long if he was anything close to OK.”

Foxx has starred in many incredible projects over the years. Ray, Collateral, Dreamgirls, Django Unchained, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Just Mercy, Baby Driver, and Soul are just a few.

The actor’s family have not commented on Foxx’s condition since the latest reports broke. Here at GAMINGbible, we’re wishing Foxx a speedy recovery and sending our well wishes.
