Hogwarts Legacy: Expecto Patronum is a new quest you can download now

Patronuses play a big part in the Harry Potter world but in Hogwarts Legacy, they took more of a back seat.

Well, that is until now as thanks to one creator, players can venture through the Forbidden Forest on a quest to discover their Patronus and defeat the ultimate wardens of Azkaban.

We all remember the moment in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban when Harry is able to summon his Patronus for the first time, warding off the Dementors and saving Sirius from a certain death.

Since then, fans have been eager to learn which animal their Patronus would take the shape of and now they can do it in Hogwarts Legacy thanks to this free download.

EXPECTO PATRONUM! By Beebub on Curse Forge is a free mod which allows players to discover a new quest, dungeon, spell and boss battle in Hogwarts Legacy.

“You meet a new classmate in the Hogwarts Library who has made a mysterious discovery about an old spellbook,” the mod description reads.

“Join her through a harrowing journey in the Forbidden Forest to fight relentless enemies, solve the mystery of the spellbook, and discover your Patronus.”

As such, the mod includes a bunch of new features including: the Expecto Patronum spell, new explorable area, new enemy type (dark wizards), new boss type (Dementors), new voiced companion called Beebub Flipendo, five voiced and motion captured cutscenes, new music and last of all, assigned Patronuses based on player choices.

The creator also aims to add more Patronus types in time so you can expect a lot more content to be added to the Expecto Patronum! Mod.

Since its upload, this mod has managed to achieve an impressive 49,000 downloads so it is definitely worth checking out if you are eager to return to Hogwarts Legacy but are desperate for some new content.
